In a few hours, the results for the 2022 presidential election will finally be released. But if the French in France have until this evening to go to the polls, the expatriates and other inhabitants of the Dom-Tom have already fulfilled their duty as citizens and according to the latest information transmitted by La Libre, Marine Le Pen would in the lead in the overseas departments. Indeed, the candidate of the National Rally would have won 69.60% of the votes, or 92,106 votes against 30.40% for Emmanuel Macron in Guadeloupe. And this, for a participation rate of 47.18%.

In Martinique, the same is true. The turnout was 45.45% and the 53-year-old politician would have won 60.87% of the vote against 39.13% for the outgoing president. Guyana, meanwhile, is mostly on the side of Marine Le Pen with 60.70% of the vote (21,734 votes) against 39.30% for the husband of Brigitte Macron. In addition, the daughter of Jean-Marie Le Pen is also in the lead in Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy with 55.42% against 44.58% for her opponent. The participation rate of these two islands is 38%. Finally, the inhabitants of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon have decided in favor of the aunt of Marion Maréchal. The latter won 50.69% of the vote against 49.31% for Emmanuel Macron.
For his part, the current President of the Republic has only succeeded in convincing French Polynesia. The candidate of La République en Marche obtained 51.81% of the vote against 48.19% for Marine Le Pen. Among expatriates, the one that the RN candidate described as “Mozart of finance” during the debate between the two rounds seems to have the advantage. Whether in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Canada or the United States, Emmanuel Macron is in the lead.
