The police have made 21 arrests since last Friday as part of megaoperation SCANDALEUX. Here are the identities of those who are currently detained and who will face justice.

Hostage taking in Saint-Malachie
A father and his daughter were arrested Monday in connection with the hostage taking that occurred in Saint-Malachie on February 19. Resident of 200, route Kelly, in Saint-Malachie, where the events occurred on the night of February 18 to 19, Georges Roy has a long legal record, particularly in matters of narcotics.
Both he and his daughter are accused of aggravated assault as well as forcible confinement on the same victim. During the event, a 29-year-old man from Quebec, Patrick Martin, was killed.

Hostage taking in Montmagny
At least five people are facing justice for having kidnapped and tortured a victim, in Montmagny, between February 12 and 20. They are Dave Mathieu, William Monger-Gagnon and David Marceau-Morin.
In addition to these charges, Evan Lavoie, of Sept-Îles, and Andréanne Dominique, of Montmagny, also face a charge of kidnapping, concerning the same victim.

Two other accused in Montmagny
Two other accused probably kidnapped and kidnapped the same victim, between February 13 and 19, still in Montmagny. Rémi Fournier, from Montmagny, and Dave Gallienne-Picard, from Cap-Saint-Ignace, face charges of kidnapping, forcible confinement and aggravated assault.

Weapon possession in Sept-ÎTHE
A young man, Dereck Morin-Martel, was arrested on Sunday in Sept-Îles for non-compliance with conditions and possession of a prohibited weapon. According to the denunciation, the accused did not appear at the Victoriaville therapy house where he must reside, according to his conditions of release.

Violence and torture in Quebec
Rapper James “Frekent” Célestin and David Marceau-Maillefert are accused of serious assault and kidnapping of a victim, which occurred in Quebec on February 4.
They are also accused of having kidnapped with the aim of kidnapping this same victim between February 12 and 20.

A young man appeared last Saturday and is accused of causing two arson attacks that occurred at 243 and 251, rue Industrielle, in Sainte-Marguerite, on October 31.

Attempted murder on Highway 40
A couple from Lebourgneuf appeared on Saturday, after being arrested on Friday in Lebourgneuf. Francis Gauthier-Marcoux and Bianca Simard were involved in a double attempted murder that occurred in broad daylight on Highway 40 last November. They also face a charge of conspiracy to commit attempted murder.

Attempted murder in Quebec
A resident of Sainte-Foy also appeared this weekend and was charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm and conspiracy, concerning a victim. The events occurred on November 3 in Quebec.

Arson in Château-Richer
A man in his forties was accused of plotting and causing an arson at KCR Karting, on the route de Saint-Achillée, in Château-Richer, on February 9.
