Animals are little balls of joy for many and can bring moments of happiness and humor. What better way to celebrate these funny little moments with our little beasts than a friendly competition?
The Comedy Pet Photography Awards aim to “celebrate the positive and vital role pets have in our lives and [d’encourager] commitment to animal welfare.
The 25 finalists for the 2023 edition were also revealed on Friday. “Once again we were treated to some really fun entries in the competition, and such a wide range of animals this year, from ferrets to turtles to donkeys plus hundreds of hilarious cats and dogs” , said Tom Sullam, co-founder of the event.
The finalists are professional and amateur photographers from all over the world. The photos are now voted on by the jury who will announce the winners on August 11th.

A life changing event

In this photo, we find Alex and Max, an adorable feline duo. While Alex is shy, Max is more teasing. The photographer said he had more fun photographing these two little beasts than on his trips to capture animal images.

This image was captured candidly as the dog’s owner threw the ball at him. The latter then performed this acrobatics in order to catch him in flight. Having tried in vain to find the owner of the dog to give her a copy of the image, the photographer hopes to succeed in finding her thanks to this contest.
