Hérault and Gard on the lookout for pollution

Meteorological conditions (strong sunshine, high temperatures, low wind) are favorable to the formation and accumulation of ozone. Ozone concentrations have been rising for several days and are expected to increase further this Wednesday afternoon. Consequently, the information procedure is triggered this Wednesday in the departments of Gard and Hérault by ARS Occitanie.

For Thursday August 11, the weather conditions should be more dispersive and thus limit the rise in ozone concentrations which will therefore be below the threshold for information and recommendations.
