The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will end this Saturday, May 27, 2023. Just before discovering which film will win the coveted “Palme d’Or” and discovering the complete winners, we take the direction of the backstage of one of the most famous galas in the world, the amFAR gala.
Each year, this charity evening closes the Cannes Film Festival and several personalities from around the world jostle there to share a dinner but above all to raise funds for AIDS research. Did you know that amFAR was founded in 1985 by American actress Elizabeth Taylor? This association (American Foundation for AIDS Research) aims to raise funds and raise awareness about AIDS. We also note that the gala does not only take place in Cannes (more precisely at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes) but is also held in several other cities around the world, namely New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Dubai and even Dallas.

This Thursday, May 25, 2023, it is therefore the place on the Côte d’Azur where you absolutely had to be. Among the prestigious guests: Georgina Rodriguez, the darling of Cristiano Ronaldo who unveiled her pretty curves in a black sequined dress. If the pretty brunette displayed a plunging neckline, she was unfortunately beaten by Nabilla Vergara who made a big impression, molded in a long white dress which gave a glimpse of her imposing chest. Of course, the young mother was accompanied by her husband, Thomas Vergara who also matched her beauty and dressed all in white.

American stars were present in large numbers: Eva Longoria, Rebel Wilson, Shay Mitchell, Halsey, Bebe Rexha. On the side of French celebrities, there were: Adriana Karembeu in a short dress revealing her endless legs, the TikTok star Léa Elui, sparkling in a silver dress, the it-girl Léna Mahfouf who landed in Jennifer’s iconic green Versace dress Lopez.
Finally, as always, an army of models had made the trip. We think of Jourdan Dunn, Jasmine Tookes, Sara Sampaio, Cindy Bruna, Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum, Stella Maxwell, Georgia Fowler, Natasha Poly, Bianca Balti, Ashley Graham, Frida Aasen or Elsa Hosk.
