her second baby is on the way!

The listeners ofEuropean 1 have a few weeks to prepare for it. Indeed, at the start of the school year, Patrick Sabatier will leave the radio, to which he returned in 2022, to devote himself to a completely different project. The 71-year-old host announced the news on Monday June 19 in an interview with our colleagues from South Info. And yet, European 1 tried to keep him in its ranks.

“Europe 1 kindly offered me to continue, but I declined”, he revealed to our colleagues. However, as indicated above, Patrick Sabatier does not leave the radio to live recluse in a house in the middle of the countryside… or almost. Indeed, he will devote himself to his second novel, which will be the sequel to “The letter”.

Patrick Sabatier leaves Europe 1 to write the continuation of a personal project

On September 21, 2022, the host released his first book published by Editions du Rock. In this book, he spoke openly about his family and in particular a heavy secret that he had never revealed until now: his reunion with a “hidden” brother. “It would be almost commonplace. It happens in lots of families. What is amazing is the way this secret was revealed, via a letter, hence the title of the book. A heartbreaking letter that a woman came to give me”he explained to TV Magazinea few days before the release of his book.

Patrick Sabatier has also kept the “secret” about the revelations he was going to make in “The letter” and warned that “Those who read the book will discover that the story turned out to be even more incredible than that! But motus… I’m revealing a family secret with drawers”.

A reunion far too short…

The man who never wanted to collaborate with Cyril Hanouna also returned to the meeting between his “brother” and his mother. A moving moment that he was able to recount in his book: “When I bring them together, I’m just as upset as they are. I see this man who opens the door and says ‘hello mum’. That moment then belongs to my mother […] He was quite laid back with me. We watched each other, we sniffed each other. Mom and him had time to find each other“.

Two loved ones in his life who have sadly passed away “six months apart, from the same disease”.
