The world of the 7ᵉ art is in mourning. And for good reason, Olivia Newton-John died at the age of 73 after a long fight against illness. Via a press release relayed on the Web, her husband John Easterling, assured that she had breathed her last “peacefully on his ranch in southern California surrounded by his family and friends”. For over thirty years, the artist had been battling breast cancer.
Wanting to focus on her health, Olivia Newton-John had therefore moved away from the spotlight. Few remember it, but in the 80s, the actress also shared the life of Matt Lattanzi, 11 years her junior. The ex-lovebirds met for the first time during the filming of the feature film Xanadu by Robert Greenwald. Despite their age difference, the principals seemed to be made for each other.
