Last January, Florent Pagny sadly announced that he had lung cancer. “I have just been diagnosed with a tumor in the lung, a not very sympathetic cancerous tumor which cannot be operated on, so I have to go into a six-month protocol of chemotherapy and X-rays” he had declared before announcing the immediate interruption of the concert tour launched to celebrate its 60th anniversary with its loyal audience.
Fortunately, the singer can count on the support of his friends such as Patrick Bruel, Patrick Fiori or Pascal Obispo but also and above all on that of his family. For nearly thirty years, Florent Pagny has been in a relationship with the beautiful Azucena Caamaño. From their relationship, two Inca children were born in 1996, and Aël in 1999. If the eldest son won “his airplane pilot’s license at the age of 25”, his youngest daughter is passionate about photography. “I’m proud that she thrives in what she loves. And she’s gifted.
