Despite their celebrity statuses, public figures are just like us and are obviously just as impatient as we are when it comes to receiving a package. A few hours ago, it’s the singer Hélène Ségara who was confronted with a small difference with the delivery manshe who was waiting to receive an order placed with Baker.
Annoyed, the singer took to her X account (formerly Twitter) to recount her little misadventure. Lthe pretty brunette explained in particular that she had driven four hours to receive this famous package. “I use my Twitter account to denounce the behavior of a brand: poor customer service, unfulfilled delivery by a delivery man unable to ring my doorbell when I came home after a concert and drove 4 hours in the middle of the night to manage 1 delivery not received” she lamented.
And Hélène Ségara certainly expected to receive messages full of compassion from Internet users, unfortunately she had to come up against a wave of criticism. “Welcome to the real world… and being a star won’t change this world by crying on the networks..” for example, threw out one of them. To which Damien Sargue’s former partner then retorted: I’m in the real world. And in my world, we even work on weekends so we expect people to keep their word.”
This response reignited the anger of Internet users who then took turns to attack him. “This sentence is abject, you mean…! It implies that all employees […] and all the delivery people are lazy and incapable! All of this is terribly lacking in kindness! I’m not even surprised…”, “In my world we also work on weekends! I find your sentence a little ‘unwelcome’, with all my respect…”, “In your world, salaries are multiplied by 10. So stay in your world”… can we read for example among the reactions. Faced with the scale of the controversy, the mother did not wish to outbid.
