Every week, the show “Top Chef” is the highlight of the sixth channel. On the screen, the candidates struggle to delight the taste buds of the members of the jury. Which is not always easy. The participants still in the running will do everything to stand out more. Like Louise Bourrat who represents Hélène Darroze’s red brigade alongside Thibaut Spiwack and Wilfried Romain.

A confession that she delivered to our colleagues from Entertainment TV. “I honestly think the way it’s set up makes me look a lot more confident than I am. I spend my time doubting myself and saying that I am not up to it. Hélène Darroze fought with this throughout the competition”, confessed Louis Bourrat. “She was kicking my ass and saying, ‘Louise, stop bashing yourself! I know that you are capable, you have to gain confidence in yourself.’ You don’t necessarily see it in the editing, where I seem to be much more competitive than I am.” Unfortunately, viewers will therefore not see certain sequences…
On a daily basis, Hélène Darroze’s protege ensures that she is “extremely emotional”.“I like to cry a lot and I don’t hide it. Before, I was too strong, I didn’t let anything show because I didn’t have the right”, explained Louise Bourrat. “My vulnerability and my emotional side, I made it a strength. In general, I wish people would listen to it more and not be ashamed of it.” Ambitious and determined, the young woman hopes to go further in the competition with her acolytes!
