Hélène Darroze, emblematic juror of “Top Chef”, makes a surprising announcement about her new kitchen!

This Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Hélène Darroze will find Paul Pairet, Philippe Etchebest or even Glenn Viel in the 14ᵉ season of “Top Chef” broadcast on M6. Facing the jury, the 16 participants of this new edition will have to stand out to go further in the competition. The secret ? Manage the pressure as well as possible while letting yourself be carried away by your passion. A philosophy that Hélène Darroze knows only too well…

And for good reason, on March 7, the happy mother of two children will inaugurate a new restaurant… in the French capital. So in her card, she decided to honor the street food. This address called “Joia Bun” is located at 16 rue de la Michodière in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. If you love American cuisine, your taste buds should be satisfied.

This beautiful project was very close to the heart of Laeticia Hallyday’s sidekick. “To react to the closure of restaurants during the health crisis, I launched with my teams a line of premium burgers ‘Joia Burger’ in 2020 and 2021″, said the three-star chef as CNews specifies. “During the reopening, it is with great regret that we abandoned this activity around the burger offer […] that we had adapted to our values and our vision of gastronomy”.

Fine gourmets are in turmoil

Out of sight, Hélène Darroze was therefore able to refine everything down to the smallest detail: “I have now found the ideal place to express this new facet of Joia and meet the insistent demand of those nostalgic for our burgers”. According to our colleagues, the main interested party has imagined no less than seven burger recipes that are likely to be a real hit.

On the menu, you can find a succulent wagyu beef burger or even another concocted with yellow chicken from the Landes. A discreet nod to the Landes, which is his region of origin. And that’s not all ! Hélène Darroze also thought of vegetarians. Their “sandwiches” for example will be pimped with potatoes, in addition to Basque sheep’s cheese and fried romaine.

Its future customers will also be able to enjoy an abundance of “mac and cheese” croquetas, fried chicken and salads. For dessert, the star thought of maritozzi, Italian ice cream or even cookies. Of course, you can either eat on site or take everything home. Moreover, Ubereats ensure delivery!
