Saturday January 20, 2024, TF1 broadcast yet another bonus from the star Academy. An evening rich in emotions during which the students of the class of 2023 had the chance to share the microphone with one of the emblematic figures of the first season: Olivia Ruiz. The day after the long-awaited return of the woman who has not always been kind to the program, the academicians met up with Cécile Chaduteau and David Hallyday for the debrief of the medley which they performed with the star. A particularly touching performance.
“Olivia had a blast with you”first launched Johnny Hallyday’s son before the stage expression teacher pointed out that the chocolate woman was “came home.” “It was really touching to see her with you. It was a nice moment of sharing between the old and the new generation“. An analysis that Julien, Pierre and Hélèna, the finalists, could only confirm. With stars in their eyes, the trio was in heaven. During the debrief, the latter did not fail to emphasize the “kindness” which Olivia Ruiz demonstrated “from beginning to end”. And to conclude: “She had such tender looks.”

“I had tears coming”
For her part, Olivia Ruiz was just as delighted. “Isn’t it too weird for you to be back on set?” had dared to ask Julien of the artist. To which she replied: “Yes, frankly emotionally it’s loaded. I arrived at the front, I had tears coming up, all that.” Years after her participation in the talent show, the young mother even followed the current season. “I looked at you because I wanted to get to know you and it’s true that I was surprised to see that it was really very different. I immediately thought you were so cute.” Touching confidences.
