A crossover to make you pale in the weekend of August 15. At the dawn of the last day of the group stage of the Women’s Champions League, Tuesday January 30, the four teams in Group C could still qualify for the quarter-finals. Leading the group at kick-off, the Parisiennes had their destiny in their hands. But they played with their crampons in Munich, against Bayern, and were very scared, conceding a draw (2-2).
For many minutes, PSG was in fact eliminated from the competition, because led by Bayern while Ajax Amsterdam tamed AS Roma. Stunned, Jocelyn Prêcheur’s players equalized for the first time, on a cross shot from Tabitha Chawinga (1-1, 73rd).
Except that Bayern Munich stunned PSG again two minutes later, with an angry header from Sydney Lohmann (2-1, 75th). At the same time, Ajax took the lead in Amsterdam against Roma, which eliminated PSG from the race for the quarter-finals. Until Sandy Baltimore appeared at the end of the match to save his family. A few hours after the elimination of Paris FC, the capital places a club in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Bayern is eliminated.
