Like the heat wave that hit France on Friday June 17, many heat waves swept through France. But, for three decades, they have been more and more numerous.
Several episodes of heat have punctuated France since 1947, when 34°C had been recorded in Paris, and where Parisians bathed to cool off somewhat.
