More and more general practitioners are no longer accepting the Carte Vitale. Some in fact decide to unconventional. A practice which allows them to impose their own prices, but which prevents patients from being reimbursed. This decision comes in a tense context for the profession. For several months, anger has been brewing among liberal doctors, engaged in a standoff with Health Insurance. They ask in particular for the revaluation of consultations.
A revaluation of 1.50 euros granted
A representative of general practitioners explains that this revaluation must “essentially allow you to hire staff, have medical assistants, secretaries“At the beginning of November, an increase of 1.50 euros per consultation was granted to them. An increase considered insufficient for health professionals.
