The former co-spokesperson for Québec solidaire, Manon Massé, will have to undergo a second heart operation in just a few months.

She made the announcement Wednesday in a message posted on social media.
“In recent days, post-operation symptoms have appeared. I consulted the specialists yesterday, they decided to operate on me again to keep me on the road to recovery,” she wrote.
“Unfortunately, this means that I will have to be absent from the National Assembly this week. I do it to make sure I come back to work in good health.”
This is therefore a second heart operation for the Quebec Solidaire MP in a few months, she who went under the knife at the beginning of August.
Mme Massé has just passed the torch of female co-spokesperson for Québec solidaire to Émilise Lessard-Therrien, who was elected to succeed her, during the party’s congress last weekend.
