From Saturday January 15, the health pass for French people who have not had their third dose of vaccine, even though they were eligible for it, will be disabled. Nearly 600,000 people would be affected.

From Saturday 15 January, the health pass of certain French people will be deactivated: those who waited seven months between their last injection or recovery certificate and their booster dose. This is therefore the last chance for candidates for recall. Nearly 600,000 people would be affected by the risk of their pass being deactivated.

However, some will not show up at vaccination centres. Having contracted the disease, they will not need a booster dose. At a vaccination center in Clamart (Hauts-de-Seine), Linda Nemrah, from the call center, signals “between 50 and 60” cancellations, during the day of Wednesday, January 12. For those refractory to the third dose, some are ready to lose their health pass. On February 15, the time between the two injections will also be shortened to four months.
