Gordon Lightfoot is canceling all of his concerts scheduled for this year for health reasons.
In a statement on Tuesday, representatives for the 84-year-old said the singer had “health issues”, without giving further details.
They ask to respect his privacy as he “continues to focus on his recovery”.
Representatives say Lightfoot is unable to confirm rescheduling dates.
The artist was to offer more than a dozen shows in Arizona, California and Florida in April, June and September.
In Canada, it was scheduled to perform in October in Kitchener, Ontario.
