In China, many children are affected by pulmonary pathology. The World Health Organization is asking the country for detailed information.
A crowd of worried parents and children are in a hospital in Beijing (China), Thursday, November 23. This influx is due to a pulmonary pathology, which seems to affect many miners. This is not a situation unique to the capital. “I arrived at 1 p.m. and my daughter was only able to be treated now, it’s late”, deplores a mother in a Shanghai hospital. Chinese authorities attribute the influx of patients to the abandonment of health restrictions and the cold currently sweeping across China.
What recommendations?
The World Health Organization (WHO) is taking up the matter. She is worried about the number of sick people in the country: “WHO has made a formal request to China for detailed information on an increase in respiratory illnesses.” This alert comes four years after the appearance of a mysterious viral pneumonia, which became the Covid-19 pandemic. The WHO recommendations are the same as at the time: mask, distancing, vaccination and isolation.
