The incomprehension of a deeply wounded father. Christophe Marchais lost his son Matisse, 15, after a fight on Saturday April 27 in Châteauroux (Indre). The attacker, a teenager of the same age, allegedly stabbed the teenager several times after insults uttered by the two boys. The victim’s father demands justice. “I’m sorry, but even if it was a 15-year-old kid, there’s no excuse for that. Going home to get a knife and stab (…), it’s just not possible “, judges the victim’s father. The latter evokes a “murder” and does not understand why his son was killed by a “boyfriend” that Matisse had frequented since “a few weeks”.
The incarcerated attacker
A white march is to be held on Saturday May 4. Matisse’s family calls for solidarity and fears violence. “Everyone must remain dignified. Matou was a joyful and happy little kid, he loved everyone”, says his father. He calls on parents in particular to be vigilant and to “track the kids”. The attacker was indicted for murder and was imprisoned. His mother, aged 37, was placed under judicial supervision with a ban on leaving the department and having contact with her son. According to some witnesses, she slapped Matisse while he was lying on the ground.
