Dark affair. This Wednesday, June 21, 2023, Jordan de Luxe received Didier Bénureau on the set of his show At Jordan’s broadcast on C8. An interview during which the 66-year-old comedian and actor spoke about his finances, his friendships in show business, but also his career. It was in 1980 that the Courbevoisien exploited his character for the first time in the cinema. A few years later, it was on the boards that he took his first steps with MOM Or give me your laundry or I’ll make a machine!, a play written in collaboration with Muriel Robin and performed at the Théâtre de Dix-Heures in the 18ᵉ arrondissement of Paris. Promising beginnings that already herald a brilliant career.
But before embracing such a destiny, Didier Bénureau was an ordinary child. At the age of 7, he followed in his big brother’s footsteps by becoming an altar boy. A period of his life of which he obviously does not have a good memory. “There is a priest who took me on his knees and…”, he confided to Jordan de Luxe before specifying that the latter had “nothing in particular”.

He caressed me…
If the loan did not touch him, his gestures still disturbed the actor. As a child, he already seemed to have understood that something was wrong. “I was the one who was scared because he was stroking my thigh, he was close to me”. Disturbed by this excess of cajoling, the young Didier Bénureau therefore reacted before he could go further.
“I was 8 years old, I jumped off his lap and left”, he added before qualifying his remarks: “I can’t accuse this priest. It disturbed me, I left, but it stayed with me. It’s a very small anecdote, but maybe it was me who imagined it all…” A disturbing anecdote to say the least…
