He slits the throat of a 58-year-old man during a fight in a bar near Saint-Brieuc

The customers of this bar rue du Commerce in Plérin, north of Saint-Brieuc, were very frightened. The police are called on Friday January 7 at 8:45 p.m. to a fight over alcohol. Once there, they discover a 58-year-old man with a slit throat. Supported by the emergency services, he was hospitalized overnight. Fortunately, the artery in the throat is not affected, but 18 staples are needed to treat it.

The suspect, a 39-year-old man, has been taken into police custody. He would have used a piece of glass in this bar to slit his victim’s throat. He is unshod in front of the Saint-Brieuc parquet this Sunday morning and is not known to the police.
