“He shrivels up Olivier Véran”, who is Adrien Quatennens, the new darling of Twitter since his tense debate on France 2 with the Minister of Health?

From the outset, Léa Salamé and Laurent Ruquier warned the loyal viewers of We are live, on France 2. The hosts of the famous talk indeed warned that the evening was going to be “special”.

And she kept all her promises! The rebellious deputy Adrien Quatennens has also been creating a buzz since his appearance on the show.

He was invited, like the spokesperson for the National Rally, Julien Sanchez, to debate with Olivier Véran, Minister of Health who obviously supports the re-election of Emmanuel Macron.

And it is by questioning him or rather by asking him to account for the McKinsey dossier that Adrien Quatennens has succeeded in becoming a popular figure at the end of the electoral campaign.

“The problem is not that McKinsey is a private company, it is the sums allocated to these private consulting firms under the presidency of Emmanuel Macron”, launched the rebellious deputy to Olivier Véran. And to continue: “Boston consulting was paid 558,900 euros by the state for organizing a convention of state managers which never took place. Another example: McKinsey took 496,000 euros for a forecast on the profession of teachers, which gave nothing. And finally, we gave 4 million euros to McKinsey to adapt the administration to the decline in APL.

On Twitter, many Internet users congratulate the close friend of Jean-Luc Mélenchon and many of them affirm that he has “shriveled” the representative of the majority.

Who is Adrien Quatennens?

Aged 31, he publicly supported Jean-Luc Mélenchon in 2008 and joined him in the Left Party (PG) in 2013. Two years later, he joined his national council. Originally from the North of France, he campaigns for the candidacy of Mélenchon in the presidential election of 2012, then in 2017 again, within the framework of La France insoumise. He is also secretary of the PG du Nord, based in Lille, in tandem with Ugo Bernalicis.
