It was at the beginning of the 90s, when Richard Gere was in the firmament, after having already appeared notably in “The Harvests of Heaven”, “American Gigolo”and of course “Pretty Woman.” Nathalie Simon says: “He had a team of only girls go and interview Richard Gere, he’s still the guy from Pretty Woman. And at one point, he puts his hand on my thigh Richard….”
The interviewer reports to have been surprised by this inappropriate gestureand remembers saying to himself “Richard, Richard?” For his part, the handsome guy with immense charm would have answered him “Oh you are like my wife (“you look like my wife”, in French)“.
