A violent pimp who put two young women through hell again failed to obtain his parole on Friday. Even though he has been detained for five years, Josué Jean has not changed one iota: he still does not recognize any sexual or violence problems. Yet he is a sexual sadist, according to an expert.
The crimes committed by Josué Jean against his victims are terrible. His first victim “belonged” to him. She even had Josué Jean’s pimp nickname tattooed on her. He demanded a minimum harvest of $2,000 per day from his young victim who had to prostitute herself almost every day.
The young woman was beaten regularly. Her tormentor could hit her in the face or burn cigarettes on her arm. He even once put a gun to the victim’s head to threaten him. Once he locked the woman in the bathroom for more than a day.
Same nightmare for the second victim. Josué Jean spits in his face and calls him “a 5-cent whore.” He does not hesitate to hit her to the point of fracturing her ribs.
For these heinous crimes, Josué Jean was convicted of 14 counts in June 2019, then sentenced to seven years and seven months in penitentiary. The 46-year-old tried to obtain day parole in 2022, but was refused. He returned to the charge in the last days.
However, the Parole Commission (CLCC) again refused on Friday to grant him semi-release. According to the Commission, Josué Jean still presents a “moderate” risk of violence against a spouse. His comments during the hearing did not at all “reassure” the commissioners, they point out.
“The Commission notes the presence of a thinking that is not only rigid, devoid of introspection and questioning, but also “magical” to the effect that you do not consider yourself at risk of reoffending,” affirm the commissioners.
Even today, Josée Jean cannot identify the consequences of his actions on the victims, even after reading an “eloquent” statement from a victim. This is not so surprising since an expert diagnosed him with sexual sadism disorder and mixed personality disorder with antisocial and narcissistic elements.
