In 2020 to everyone’s surprise, Patrice Laffont joined Cyril Hanouna’s team in “Do not touch My TV” on C8. As a reminder, the former flagship animator of “Fort Boyard” was to shine there for several months… But the producer did not stay in the program for very long. This Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the microphone of “South Radio”, the main interested party has agreed to lift the veil on the reasons for his departure.
“I understood that it was not made for me”, analyzed Patrice Laffont. “Hanouna told me: ‘You will have a special place’ and then I realized that it was not that at all”. Plus, the happy dad of three didn’t get along so well with his co-workers: “I didn’t like the people around the table at all and Hanouna moderately. After 4 shows, when I had a three-month contract, I said to the producer: ‘It’s not my world, I have to leave. It cost me dearly”.

The day after his interview, Cyril Hanouna and his columnists obviously reacted to his remarks on the set of “Do not touch My TV”. “He took you apart…”, released Matthieu Delormeau to the troublemaker of the PAF. “Oh no, he took you apart! […]”, the latter defended himself. “I’ll tell you when you fire a guy, he’s not going to say behind, ‘yes he’s great’. As he indicated, Cyril Hanouna has no resentment towards his colleague: “We loved Patrice Laffont very much. He did two shows as they say, sometimes you have trouble finding your place, it’s true […]”.
To which Gilles Verdez replied: “He is bitter”. “Not bitter, it’s going to stop, you’re mean”, annoyed Cyril Hanouna who – later – bounced back on his remarks on the virtual tigers of “Fort Boyard”. A new lively debate that seems to have fascinated the Twittos to the highest degree!
