Robert Badinter died on the night of Thursday February 8 to Friday February 9. The Minister of Justice Éric Dupond-Moretti affirmed, Friday on the set of 20 Heures, that Robert Badinter inspired him in his former profession as a lawyer, “as he inspired generations of lawyers”. The current Minister of Justice greets “his verb”, “his eloquence” but also “the relevance of his words, his humanism”.

A book of condolences set up

“For all our compatriots who want to pay him a last tribute, we have put together a book of condolences”indicates the Minister of Justice. “The Chancellery will be open this evening until 10 p.m., then tomorrow, from the morning, it will be open until the evening and on Sunday as well”, specifies Éric Dupond-Moretti.
