It’s an unlikely duo that no one has forgotten! In 1999, then at the height of his popularity, Jamel Debbouze was invited to present a César on stage in the company of the superb Slovak top model Adriana Karembeu, freshly married to the famous footballer. Between them, a difference in size immediately makes you smile, of course… Jumping on the comic effect, the comedian immediately chained the jokes. “Are you the wife of… Zinedine Zidane?”, he begins, before she whispers her husband’s first name. Jamel continues on the size of his legs, “Is it true that they are 1m24? If my legs were 1m24, they would come to my throat…!”he launches in front of a hilarious audience and to launch this joke that we all remember: “Monsieur and Madame Karembeu have a son, what is his name? 6 times 7, because 6 times 7 Karembeu!”. An excerpt that is one of the César best-ofs… but not for Adriana Karembeu!

“I didn’t know who Jamel was and I didn’t speak French”
Invited on Saturday, June 3, 2023 in the show What an era! son France 2, the emblematic ambassador of the Red Cross since the 2000s, indeed explained during the show to have “suffered” at this moment. “I suffered because it was improvised, I didn’t know who Jamel was and I didn’t speak French”, she justified herself.
