Frank Abrokwa, 37, was arrested by law enforcement earlier this week after smearing excrement on a woman’s face on the subway. On the CCTV images posted online by the Daily Star, we see the young man walking peacefully on the quay, an unidentified object in his hand. On a bench, a woman in her forties waits for the vehicle to pass. Once arrived at the height of the latter, Frank rushes to meet him in order to crush the human excrement that he held between his fingers, in the face.
After his gesture, the suspect fled before being arrested. For the moment, the police are unable to say that it was the young man’s feces, reports the New York Post. He was therefore charged on Monday, February 28, 2022 and is now being prosecuted for touching and harassment. At a press conference on the day of the arrest, New York City Mayor Eric Adams called the attack “ horrible experience for the victim. ” Human waste or someone spitting in your face are real signs of mental health issues…and we really need to dig into how we treat these illnesses… added the politician.
This traumatic episode comes a few days after another shocking event. Several weeks ago, a female doctor was savagely attacked as she was returning home by metro. Her attackers had threatened her with a hammer before hitting her ten times on the head in order to steal her handbag which contained some cash and her bank card. The suspect was fortunately arrested and the victim survived.
