Last Sunday, 1,465,000 curious people saw the star campers of TVA spawn with rats and smell carrion, while 1,435,000 music lovers watched the live broadcasts of The voice.
We would never have seen such a reversal barely five years ago.
The buzz of The voice growls less loudly. Even I, who have followed all the editions, have a hard time fully embarking on this ninth chapter, back after an absence of three years.

In the red armchairs of The voice, coach Marc Dupré retains his efficiency and liveliness. Mario Pelchat and Corneille were formidable recruits, Mario having even fished out one of the public’s darlings, 17-year-old Sophie Grenier.
It was less obvious for Marjo, absent Sunday evening due to COVID-19. The rocker took several weeks to feel comfortable on the set. She seemed lost, stuck, and her colleagues helped her (a little) find herself, baby. On Sunday, Marjo’s decision to favor Nathaël Young was overturned by a massive vote from viewers, who voted for Christopher Therrien. Whoops.
