“Haute couture” takes you behind the scenes of a world apart

It is a real dive into the house of Dior. The film “Haute couture” directed by Sylvie Ohayon comes out Wednesday, November 10 in cinemas. “Haute couture” tells the story of an unlikely encounter: that of Esther, a first in a Dior house workshop, and of Jade, 20, who occupies her day flying in the metro with her friend Souad.

Convinced of the young girl’s potential, Esther opens the doors of fashion to her. “She teaches him that this is not a job for him, it is a profession”, explains actress Nathalie Baye, who plays Esther. For her second film, Sylvie Ohayon takes us behind the scenes of haute couture. An exceptional know-how, where the clothes are designed like works of art. “Haute couture” is a film which pays homage to all those small hands.
