Dinah, a 14 year old teenager, was abused in college by a group of girls. She committed suicide in her bedroom on the night of October 4 to 5.
She was to celebrate her 15th birthday in a few weeks. In the night of October 4 to 5, Dinah killed herself in her bedroom. On images shared by her brother, she seems to lead an ordinary existence, in the Alsatian town of Kingersheim (Haut-Rhin). According to her family, she had been harassed by old friends for over two years. “The girls ran into her in the halls of college, pushed her around, called her a puke, a lesbian, a dirty nerd, a dirty race, a dirty mixed race. In March, she made her first suicide attempt. The college called us every day to come and pick her up“, his mother told RTL.
Despite an organized confrontation with her stalkers, Dinah’s ordeal does not end. Despite her ill-being, she obtains her certificate, with a very good mention. She thinks she will never meet her harassers again by going to high school in Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin), but they are found in the canteen, common to several establishments. The prosecution opened an investigation in order to shed light on the facts of harassment, and to establish a link with the suicide.
