Has Fred Testot just announced the end of his friendship with Omar Sy?

They made us laugh for several years thanks to their shock duo, especially in the after-sales service on Canal + broadcast from 2005 to 2012 in Le Grand Journal. But before this column, the two made themselves known, or rather met for the first time, on the radio, thanks to Jamel Debbouze. Their first “TV” only arrived in 2000 thanks to the Visiophon in Nowhere else, also broadcast on Canal +. Their duo will therefore have lasted several years and will have made us hilarious in so much time. Omar Sy and Fred Testot remain an inseparable duo even several years after the end of their After-Sales Service for Broadcasts. Yet, for quite a while now, the two seem to have drifted apart. But does that mean their friendship has been shattered?
This is what we can think of by re-reading the comments made by Fred Testot in the columns of Grazia in 2016 as noted by our colleagues at Gala. This one coming back to the “end” of their duo, in 2012, precipitated by the success ofUntouchables. “It started with a kind of geographical distance, and then time ended up settling in there”, he admitted. In the end, this “rupture” was inevitable. Indeed, although they were very close, the different goals of each in their projects would inevitably lead to a split. “Fred dreamed of being a dramatic actor. Omar not especially. Life is unfair. When the rocket went into orbit, it was impossible for everyone to follow.”, explained a source close to the two friends to Release.
If today, Omar and Fred no longer appear together and do not seem to give each other much news, that does not detract from their friendship. Nothing says the two are at war and don’t like each other anymore. As a reminder, it is not mandatory to call someone every day to know that we can count on them and that they are one of our friends. Hoping that this also applies to the duo.
