‘Hard period’: Pierre Ménès at the bottom of the hole, says more about his strange illness

It’s an absence that worried more than one and many wondered why. Pierre Menes hadn’t been heard from for several days. On April 24, the sports journalist raised doubts by indicating on his Twitter account that he had been in hospital for a few days. “No forecast or Face à Pierrot, I have been hospitalized for 5 days”, he told his 2.5 million subscribers on the platform. An absence that questions when the investigation for sexual assault on him continues.

The 58-year-old man is also the target of repeated telephone harassment, like his partner Melissa Acosta, but obviously his hospitalization has nothing to do with it. A few hours ago, Pierre Ménès published a new message where he gives more details on his situation. “Some news, I am hospitalized in Necker where drug intolerance is suspected”, reveals the loudmouth journalist. A difficult moment to pass for him, as he specifies in conclusion of his message: “Hard Time”.

Several health concerns in recent years

A new health concern for Pierre Ménès who has already been the victim of several problems in the past. In December 2016, he was transplanted with a kidney following non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, also called “soda disease”. After getting out of it and returning to Canal +, he was accused in March 2021 by several journalists who worked with him of sexual assault. Categorically refuting these allegations, he ended up leaving the Canal group with a very nice check at stake. He recently launched his own media Pierrot footballin which he continues his analyzes of football while conducting interviews with personalities from various backgrounds, such as Éric Zemmour, guest of his first show.
