Hamas number 3 was killed during an Israeli operation, according to the United States

Marwan Issa, deputy head of Hamas’ military wing, killed “during an Israeli operation last week” in the Gaza Strip, announced Monday March 18 the National Security Advisor of the United States, Jake Sullivan. This is the highest-ranking official killed in this territory by the Israeli army since the start of the war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement.

The Israeli army reported an airstrike “in the center of the Gaza Strip, near Nuseirat”, against one “underground base”was “used by two senior leaders of the organization [dont] Marwan Issa. Israel, however, had not confirmed the death of the man, born in 1965, who was the deputy of Mohammed Deif, the leader of the al-Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.
