Gwendoline Hamon and Frédéric Diefenthal: Rare revelations about their son Gabriel who follows in their footsteps

Next Saturday November 12, France 3 will broadcast a new episode of the series Cassandra with her heroine Gwendoline Hamon in the role of Commissioner Cassandre.

On the occasion of the upcoming broadcast of the episode, the 52-year-old actress – great friend of the late Charlotte Valandrey (died July 13, 2022) – gave an interview to our colleagues from TV Star (on newsstands Monday, November 7). Gwendoline Hamon notably revealed that his son Gabrielwho wants to become an actor, shot an episode of Cassandra. “He passed trials and he was taken”, she announced. Gabriel is the son that Gwendoline Hamon had with her ex-husband, also an actor, Frederic Diefenthal, from whom she separated a few years ago. Aged 18, young Gabriel Diefenthal is studying at a business school.

In this interview, the actress took the opportunity to reveal in more detail the role of her son in the France 3 series: “Reading his lines, I realized that what he had to play was very complicated because his role involved a lot of anger and violence, but the fact is that he is great. In an interview with Gala last January, Gwendoline Hamon spoke openly about her relationship with her son Gabriel: “It must be difficult for him because I’m a scared mom, who is worried, who knows the excesses, so I’m still scared.
