Two vehicles were involved, according to preliminary information from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). They fled the scene and we did not have their description at the time of publishing this text.
Casings were found on Boulevard Gouin, Boulevard Rivière-des-Prairies, and 58e avenue, according to agent Raphaël Bergeron, of the SPVM. Bullet holes were also observed on vehicles parked in the area.
A very large perimeter was erected and many streets were closed to traffic in the evening.
