Shots were fired Friday evening in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, in Montreal. It looks like no one was hurt.

Emergency services received “several calls” around 9:20 p.m. for gunshots on rue Taillon, near the intersection with rue de Grosbois, explains officer Véronique Comtois, from the City’s police department. of Montreal (SPVM).
According to the first information gathered by the police, a conflict would have degenerated between two groups of people. “So far, we have not had a victim who has been located or who has come forward to the police,” adds Constable Comtois.
Casings were found on the ground at the scene, and the scene was protected to allow investigators and the dog handler to shed light on the events.
