An employee of a cryptocurrency company succumbed to his injuries after being hit by several gunshots near Carrefour Laval. The shooting happened in broad daylight while several people were on site.
Kevin Alberto Calderon Pena, 28, was hit by several projectiles in Laval on Thursday around 5 p.m. His vehicle was riddled with bullets. According to our information, the victim works for a cryptocurrency company. He was not known to the police and had no criminal record.
The event occurred while he was outside his car, in a parking lot near the intersection of Daniel-Johnson and Le Carrefour boulevards, reports the Laval City Police Department.
No suspects have been arrested at this time.
