(Laval) Three searches carried out Thursday by the Service de police de Laval (SPL) led to an arrest and the seizure of evidence related to events in recent months that have involved firearms and street gangs in Laval.
On November 22, a previous search took place in connection with these events. Two individuals were arrested and a 9-millimeter firearm was seized.
The suspect arrested Thursday, Ayoub Machkour, 21, is charged with breaking and entering and pointing a gun. He is currently in custody and will return to court this Friday.
The three searches carried out at two residences and a vehicle resulted in the seizure of two jackets by bullets, an air pistol and other evidence for the police.
