Guillaume Pirouelle, ahead of Tom Laperche, brilliant second overall

Guillaume Pirouelle only had a short fourteen minutes and forty-six seconds lead this Sunday in Royan at the start of the third and final stage over his runner-up overall, his lead was not enough to resist the return of Tom Laperche.

The skipper from the Normandy region finished fifth in St Nazaire just over an hour and twenty-two minutes behind the Breton who won the last stage and the 53rd edition of the Solitaire du Figaro.
