Guillaume Meurice announces Thursday May 2 on X that he will be summoned by Radio France for a preliminary interview. The company’s management confirms this summons and specifies that “pending this interview, Guillaume Meurice is suspended from the air – with maintenance of his remuneration – and will therefore not participate in the Grand Dimanche evening of Sunday May 5 on France Inter”.

Neither Guillaume Meurice nor Radio France specify the reason for this summons. But this comes as the comedian reiterated on Sunday his controversial remarks made at the end of October about Benjamin Netanyahu, for which he had received a warning from the management of Radio France and a warning from Arcom. “There are things we can say. For example, if I say ‘Netanyahu is a kind of Nazi but without a foreskin’, that’s fine. The prosecutor said ‘that’s fine'”he declared on France Inter on Sunday, referring to the recent dismissal of a complaint against him accusing him of anti-Semitism.
