Guillaume Meurice, suspended from France Inter since May 2, will be scheduled for Tuesday, June 4 at the earliest, for possible dismissal. The comedian was summoned to the disciplinary committee on Thursday, after which no decision has been notified to him for the moment. He will have to wait at least until Tuesday to know the final decision on a possible sanction.

Guillaume Meurice was suspended from the air on May 2 and summoned to a preliminary interview, four days after having reiterated his controversial remarks about the Israeli Prime Minister made at the end of October, for which he had received a warning from the management of Radio France and a warning from Arcom.

On October 29, 2023, in the show Le Grand Dimanche Soir on France Inter, the comedian described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “kind of a Nazi but without a foreskin”. The two complaints for provoking anti-Semitic violence and hatred and public insults of an anti-Semitic nature, filed in November by the European Jewish Organization (EJO), were dismissed on April 11.
