While filming in the film The Childhood of Icarus by Alex Iordăchescu, in Romania with Alysson Paradis, the actor had contracted pneumonia and suffered an infection due to staphylococcus aureus. Repatriated to the Garches hospital, he breathed his last, very suddenly, on October 13, 2008 at the age of 37. For those around him, his loved ones, his family and his friends, the start of the new school year is always a difficult time to live.
