Among them, Guillaume Bats. And the latter has energy and humor to spare, he who has long been deprived of lightness and smile.
On the occasion of the launch of a tour for his one-man show Out of frame! in 2019, Guillaume Bats confided in the columns of here is on his difficult childhood started by the abandonment of his mother: “When I was born, I stayed less than a year with my mother. She did not assume, and I found myself in a nursery until the age of 4 years. Afterwards, I went to a center during the week and to a host family at the weekend. When I was 7, I stayed there full time, but two years later I had to leave.” It was only four years later that Guillaume Bats found the stability of a loving family in “a slightly older lady“: “I consider his children as my uncles and aunts. Very quickly, I became an integral part of their family and, today, they are all behind me. Unfortunately, this mother of heart died in 2010, she could not see me on stage, it is the great sadness of my life“.
Guillaume Bats has suffered from brittle bone disease since he was young and he was not spared by his classmates: “It was complicated. There was a pack effect, I was targeted. And what’s terrible about bullying is that the rare times when you’re not the victim, you join the group to do the same to someone else.” His revenge, Guillaume Bats finally got it by going on stage and becoming one of the most popular comedians on the French scene.
Success is certainly there, but he is only waiting for one thing now, love. always in here is at the time, Guillaume Bats expressed his desire to land with a woman: “I have a flirty temperament, but I don’t have the physical means to behe indicated. In my show, I take the opposite view to play it down, but even if I’ve experienced things, the reality isn’t very happy. I have a lot of love to give.
