In Guadeloupe, the Easter weekend rhymes with camping with family or friends. A tradition carried on every year. Campers for the Easter holidays have already taken over the most popular sites in the archipelago.
A family from Trois-Rivières (Guadeloupe) is not yet complete and the pantry has not been filled. The sea and the beach are like a playground for young and old. Already among budding campers resounds the call of nature. “I’m making a sort of wooden harpoon for fishing. I’m not sure it’ll work, but we’ll see what happens”says a child.
Easter weekend guests
On the beach of the Saint-François campsite (Guadeloupe), the long-term prize goes to a group of relatives and friends. They have been living here for three weeks now. Living differently to forget everyday life, for 25 years families from Saint-François have found themselves here. There are only a few days left before the tenants of La Coulée open the doors of their campsite to Easter weekend guests.
