Ground meat sold in supermarkets of several brands recalled due to contamination with E.coli bacteria

500 gram trays of 5% ground meat from the Cora brand are being recalled due to a risk of contamination with E.coli bacteria, the government website Rappel Conso announced on Friday March 15. These minced steaks were sold in several supermarket brands in France between February 29 and March 5.

The recalled lots are labeled 40595076 and have a best before date of March 5. Customers who have purchased this product should not consume it and can return it to the relevant point of sale for a refund.

In detail, the brands that have marketed these trays are: Otera in Mérignac (Gironde), Otera in Villeneuve d’Ascq (North), Leclerc in Templeuve -en-Pévèle (Hauts-de-France), Cora in Wattignies (North) , Otera in Amiens (Somme), Leclerc in Dainville (Pas-de-Calais), Cora in Dunkirk (North), Cora in Saint-Quentin (Aisne), Otera in Fréjus (Var) and Auchan in Calais (Pas-de- Calais).
