Third game and still no victory for the Blues. The France team was held in check in Austria on Friday June 10 (1-1), four days after its draw in Croatia (1-1) and a week after its home defeat against Denmark (1-2). Long led, against the course of the game, the players of Didier Deschamps avoided defeat at the end of the match thanks to the entry of Kylian Mbappé. The content may have been more interesting than in the first two games of this League of Nations, only very few of them scored points.

Against Croatia, the Marseillais stood out for his ability to make up for his mistakes. Not this evening. The Marseille defender was undoubtedly the worst performer for the Blues in the first period. His match started with a slide that could have been expensive (4th). He is at fault on Weimann’s goal, due to a faulty marking (37th), and has not always managed to hold the imposing Arnautovic in the duel. Better in the second half.
Ibrahima Konate: 6/10
Pulled from his holidays to join the Blues along the way, the Liverpool defender showed great things for his first. The start was not ideal, but he quickly stood out as the most reassuring element of the defensive line. He is behind the equalizer for Mbappé, which he finds at the start of the action in the central circle with a vertical pass, after having himself arisen to recover the ball.
Theo Hernandez: 4.5/10
Unlike Konaté, the Milan side got off to a good start before falling into the background. He is fixed on the Austrian goal (37th). Finally, the only two opposing opportunities came from his side. The contrast is quite striking compared to its fiery debut last fall.
Aurelien Tchouameni: 5.5/10
Without being extraordinary, the Monegasque continues to assert himself, like his long shot, above the bar (13th). The only player to have chained three starts in the first three games of this rally, he is already a must. A downside is to put on his forward passing game. If he was not reluctant to take risks, he was never rewarded (no key pass). Replaced by Mattéo Guendouzi (63rd).
Boubacar Kamara: 6.5/10
After the first summons and the first entry into play, the new player from Aston Villa had his first tenure with the Blues. He distinguished himself by his ability to direct the game and press the opponent. Like Guendouzi against Croatia, he had no problem occupying one of the most central roles in the team (touching 88 balls). 90 very positive minutes.
Moussa Diaby: 5/10
We already knew that he was an arrow and that he was not making the right decisions in key areas. Tonight, the Leverkusen winger did not erase the shortcomings observed against Croatia but he was not stingy in his efforts. He ran everywhere from the first minute to the last, almost at times ensuring a fifth player role on the French defensive line.

The more time passes, the less he is the playmaker of the France team. Discreet, sometimes imprecise in small spaces – where he knew how to make crucial differences for the Blues -, the Atlético de Madrid striker did not go far from a decisive pass for Coman with a deviation in extension in the surface (56th).
But as against Croatia, he was the first to give up his place (at the same time as Tchouaméni, who especially needed rest). Replaced by Kylian Mbappé (63rd), the entry of which simply changed everything. Austria retreated and he ended up breaking the lock, piercing the opposing defense before concluding in the skylight on his bad foot (83rd). The Parisian even almost offered the victory to the Blues three minutes later, but his shot was deflected by the opposing goalkeeper on the bar (86th).
Kingsley Coman: 5.5/10
Until the entry of Mbappé, he was the most explosive player in the France team. His dribbling often confused Lainer (4 successful), warned after only nine minutes for a foul on the Bavarian. His tendency to absolutely want to get on his right foot made him a little predictable. It is also because of this that he wastes a golden opportunity at the start of the second period, the fault of the dribble too much (56th). Replaced by Christopher Nkunku (79th)decisive passer just four minutes after entering the game.
Karim Benzema: 5.5/10
Few situations, but not much to complain about. The Real Madrid striker got two major chances, both times repelled by a Pentz in a state of grace: a header in the 18th minute and a sublime curling shot after returning from the locker room. He also participated in the game (52 balls).
