At almost 49 years old, Kevin McKidd has indeed announced to his fans that he was preparing to divorce his wife Arielle after four years of union and two children (Aiden, born in 2018 and Nava, born in 2019). Both had met at the end of the first marriage of the Scottish actor, in 2017, a first union from which he had two elders, Joseph and Iona (22 and 20 years old).
And it was on Instagram that he announced this sad news, in a very long message: “A few months ago, Arielle and I decided to end the part of our relationship that saw us get marriedhe wrote, in the caption of photos of their couple. We arrived at this conclusion after much brainstorming and after many discussions and we know today that it is for the best.“
However, there is no question for the actor to be angry with the mother of his two youngest … quite the contrary: “Arielle is an amazing mother to Aiden and Nava. She is one of the wisest, smartest, and tenderest people I know. We will continue to love and respect each other very much“, he details.
