Still undefeated this season at the Stade des Alpes, the GF38 fell on their lawn on Saturday, beaten 2-1 by Paris FC.
During a rather pleasant first half, Grenoble created the best situations, thanks in particular to its will-o’-the-wisp Bamba Sanyang, but did not manage to open the scoring.
In the second half, Paris FC is much more pressing. Brice Maubleu multiplies the parries, but can do nothing on the hour mark on a powerful strike from Morgan Guilavogui which opens the scoring for the Parisians.
Despite the entries of Florian Michel or Amine Sbaï, the GF38 appeared without a solution until an overflow from Pape Meissa Ba, who served Bamba Sanyang for the equalizer in the 78th minute.
In difficulty on the second half, Grenoble is on the way to saving a point, but will end up cracking, on a penalty awarded by the referee M Kherradji, for a hand in the surface of Alex Gersbach, and transformed by Chahiri at the 88th.
Now 13th in Ligue 2, the Grenoble residents will play again in front of their home crowd next week, against Caen.
